DR. DAVID SKRBINA is a former professor of philosophy who taught at the University of Michigan for 15 years. He also held teaching or research positions at the University of Helsinki, Finland; Michigan State University; and the University of Gent, Belgium. He has researched and published in a number of fields, including philosophy of religion, history of philosophy, environmental ethics, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of technology.  Dr. Skrbina has published nearly three dozen academic articles or book chapters, and has written or edited ten books, including The Metaphysics of Technology (Routledge, 2015), Confronting Technology (Creative Fire, 2020), Panpsychism in the West (MIT Press, revised edition 2017), and The Jesus Hoax (2024).  More information can be found at his personal website, www.davidskrbina.com
